| Printer Friendly SOURDOUGH WAFFLES 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon soda 2 eggs Sourdough starter - use all but ½ cup. ¼ cup shortening Cream eggs, sugar, shortening and soda together. Stir in sourdough starter and mix thoroughly. Cook in a hot waffle iron lightly greased until waffles are golden brown. Serve with maple syrup, and maple nut ice cream. |
