| HAMBURGER AND PORK AND BEANS 2 pounds lean hamburger 1 large onion, chopped into ¼ inch pieces 1 green pepper, cut into ½ inch cubes (optional) 2 (16 oz.) cans pork & beans 1 (3 oz.) can tomato sauce In a large frying pan, brown hamburger, peppers and onion together. Drain off any fat by simply tipping the pan slightly so the fat will pool on one side and sop it away from the meat with a napkin or paper towel. Add beans and tomato sauce. Bring mixture to a boil and cook on low for 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately. |
