| GRILLED SIRLOIN TIPS ¼ cup lemon juice ¼ cup water 1 cup soy sauce 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 clove garlic, peeled 1 large onion, cut into small pieces 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon basil leaves 1 cup olive oil 3 sprigs cilantro, fresh 2-3 pounds small sirloin steaks Place all ingredients except the meat in a blender and blend until the onion and garlic have liquefied. In a gallon zip lock bag or covered bowl, soak sirloin steaks in the marinade 6-8 hours but not more than 24 hours before the evening barbeque. Place on the grill and brown on each side to your liking. |
