GRILLED CHICKEN TERIYAKI MARINADE

½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ teaspoon fresh ginger root, grated
2 ½ pounds boneless, skinless raw chicken breasts

Combine soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger in a large zip-lock baggie. Add chicken and remove as much air as possible. Place baggie in the refrigerator and marinate chicken for about 8 hours but no longer than 24 hours.

Grill chicken on a hot charcoal or gas grill, for approximately 4-6 minutes on each side, turning and brushing frequently with remaining marinade until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Meat should be still be juicy and pliable, but not pink in the middle or hard and dry.
