PENOCHA FROSTING

1 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
¼ cup milk
2 cups powdered sugar, approximately
1 tablespoon vanilla

Melt brown sugar and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add milk and boil again for about two minutes.

Remove from heat and cool slightly. Beat in enough powdered sugar to make it light and fluffy and easy to spread.
