| PECAN PIE 1 unbaked pie shell 2 cups dark corn syrup 2 cups white sugar 2 teaspoons salt ½ cup butter 6 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups pecans, whole In a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer, whip corn syrup, sugar, salt and butter together. Add eggs one at a time, beating each one until well blended. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into a raw pie shell and bake 350 F for one hour or until shell is golden and filling has set. |
