BROWNIES (My Personal Favorite)

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Recipe requires one 12x18 inch un-greased cookie sheet.

3 cups white flour
4 cups white sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup melted butter or margarine
3 heaping tablespoons baking cocoa
8 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups of walnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)

Mix flour, cocoa, sugar and salt all together in a large bowl. Add vanilla, eggs and melted butter then stir with a large spoon until all ingredients have blended. The dough will be stiff. Stir in nuts. Spread batter onto cookie sheet. It is not necessary to grease the bottom of the pan.

Bake 25 - 30 minutes. Do not overcook.

Note: If you choose to frost these brownies, be sure to wait until they have cooled or they will sweat and be sticky.
