CARAMEL PECAN LOG

1 pound pecan halves or pieces
1 recipe penuche
1 recipe caramels:

(For pecan log - Cook carmel to 228 degrees. )

Spread pecans on buttered jelly roll pan. Pour hot carmel candy over pecans in buttered 9 x 13 pan or jelly roll pan.. Let cool.

Divide penuche into 16 pieces. Roll into logs. Cut caramel\pecans into 16 pieces. Wrap around penuche. Wrap in plastic or plastic bags. Can be frozen.
